Re: Storm gets a belly pan

Idicators are arrow type ones but have see through backs so you can see them from both ends of the bike. Rear ones were fitted into the standard holes and front were fitted by taking off the OE ones and removing the rubber mounts from the indicator arms and then putting the screw mount and rubber pa...

Found out my mate is on Dragon's Den next week. He's just come up with a land mine that looks like a prayer mat

Re: Pinlock

Got pinlock on my Shoei XR1100 and it's great. No misting what so ever. Shoei are doing an offer on their stuff where you get a tinted (legal) visor and clear and the pinlock insert free.

Re: Headlight removal

All done with the help of my wife for the third pair of hands :D Forgot i had the bikeviz led's in the airscoops though but a pair of cutters and some crimp terminals have sorted that for next time if needed. Mended the headlight spring retainer with a washer so it sits properly now and cheaper than...

While trying to change the headlight bulb tonight the spring clip that holds the bulb in has come off in my hand! Firstly i haven't got the foggiest how it goes back in so i was wondering if anyone has the headlight unit in their spare parts that they could take a photo of the back section so i can ...

Old timers

Two old timers are sitting on a bench outside the old folks home. One turns to the other and says, "I'm 87 now and feel full of aches and pains, how do you feel Bill?" Bill replies," Like a newborn baby" "Really, like a newborn baby?" asks Archie Bill replys,"Yep, ...

Re: Ebay new belly pan

Same as mine. No, doesn't come with a fitting kit or holes predrilled but not difficult to fit really. Just need some 3mm bar that you can bend easily, some 5mm bolts (B&Q) and a bit of time and it's trial and error. Mine is really good quality and thick fibreglass. It has obvious mounting hole ...

Re: Later Firestorm clipons on older Firestorm?

Found this one on Ebay 190327045285. I know it's only one but might be worth grabbing it and wait for the other side to come up at some point or mail the guy and see if he has the R/H bar too ?: :?: :?: :?:

Re: exhaust wrapping??

This is where i got mine, don't think you will find cheaper and had about 6 inches left after doing the whole headers, front and back. Might be worth ordering some metal ties while your at it or Halfrauds sell them. The short ones are a little tight so i got the long ones and cut the end off once fi...

Re: exhaust wrapping??

Did mine a while back and it all seems good. Can't really say that i have noticed any performance difference but i have fitted a 15 tooth front sprocket too so that would explain that. It does stop a lot of heat coming up around your legs though and it gets some funny looks in the wet at traffic lig...

Re: My Black Storm!!

Same thoughts exactly. Been for a good blast today on dry roads with the new suspension and 15 tooth sproket. Getting the bike over to the edge of the tyre on most corners without much effort and it just stays on track with no fuss what so ever. Better handling than the Mille i had when they first c...

Re: Firestorm takes a tumble

Bike passed MOT today so all legal again in the eyes of the DVLA. Baffles back out and VFR bars back on. First real blast with the Jacugar suspension and very happy indeed :D Bike tracks so much better and smooths over the bumps the OE shock just bounced over. Very confident riding in the wet so jus...
