Re: OP STORM SW Scotland Mk6, Aug 10th to 13th 2018

I'm still a strong 'maybe' for this, it depends on the kids are going to the Isle of man for a few days in Aug, they are supposed to be going to visit the in-laws which will release me from my parental duties for the Scotland trip, but until their travel is book it's not 100% going to happen. So if ...

Re: my Aprilia Superleggera project

Well after 10 days of been messed about by an ebay seller the 26mm socket is finally here, I think I should have just gone down to Halfords in the first place. Anyway the missing socket as turned up so I've now got the swing arm out and checked the bearing, the ball bearing one is in excellent condi...

I hope so, although close inspection may reveal some less than perfect paint but it's not a proffessional job I've painted in on the drive that said I'm happy with it so far. :D

Re: my Aprilia Superleggera project

Re: Dunlop GPR-300 tyres

Well, I decided not to get these. I'm mainly put off by their being single-compound. I think they're actually budget sports tyres meant for smaller bikes, but are also marketed as 'commuting' tyres for something like the Firestorm (so people can't sue Dunlop when they come off when pushing on a bit...

Hi Al put me down as a maybe, I've always fancied this meet but for various reasons never been able to make the timings work, but bringing it forward a week may make it doable I'll let you know for sure shortly.

Re: What's annoyed you today??

They say there's no such thing as a free lunch (tanstaafl) but yesterday at work there was free pizza. Only it wasn't free; I have paid for it in watery clenchless squirts every five minutes ever since. Anyone else embracing the seasonal festive season of joy? . Eating dodgy pizza is an in an inter...

The storm is starting to be a bit heavy I'm not sure the rear indicators look good in this position http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l76/sadFlatline/DucafeRacer/IMG_201708...
