Given all the work he did and money spent I think they failed to make the most of it, the saying ‘don’t spoil the ship for a ha’porth of tar’ comes to mind, a more through shake down would have revealed the problems they had in Germany and they would have been able to deal with them before they went...

Did budd break down again? He is the new Tony ;) no bike was Ok this time I did take the precaution of having it on trickle charge just to be sure (cheers Mark), although when it didn't start straightaway Sun morning I had a nasty feeling it was going to disgrace itself again and leave me stranded ...

We get one of those white line markers, draw a line across the road, then it's a countdown and we all bugger off down the road as fast as possible The last one back buys the food and drinks for the rest At least I think that's how it's going to be this year ,🙂 you better bring plently of money then...

Very interesting to hear what you have found. Not a brilliant idea though if you can reassemble the caliper out of alignment IMHO. As you say though, keep an eye on it, Chris. the 2 sides of the caliper are sealed with O rings and held together with M8 bolts but there are no locating pins so you ge...

all rebuilt, bled and back in use, got some cheapo kyoto pads to see it the disc will clean up, it's not warped and as minimal scoreing so it may be OK, but it defo needs to be checked and re-checked to ensure it is Ok, I'll probably change the disc anyway along with the pads just to be on the safe ...
