Re: TT Accommodation Available

This is the last chance.
Anyone looking for accommodation for the TT race week need to get in touch with me as soon as possible, there is a double room and a single room still up for grabs.

Re: Very loud Airhorn

If you still insist you need a louder horn then try a Stebel magnum, they are loud, easy to fit without the need for any mods.

Re: Very loud Airhorn

I'm with VTRDark on this, as he said, if you come across the type of incident you mention you will not have time to sound your horn, and the time spent sounding it would just delay your evasive action. Sadly these days a horn is just to warn someone you're there well in advance, or to give them a bo...

Fabiostar, is there any chance you can post a list up of suitable B&Bs that are close by so some of us can consider stopping in one of them.

I am hoping all the idiots will be sat at home infront of the TV and there will be less people out on the roads
I was up there on Saturday about midday doing the first part of the Western route and there was hardly any traffic

Re: Op Storm IV Yorkshire 18-20 may 2018

380 miles is way to much, 180-200 is more like it. Don't want to tread on anyone's toes, Just trying to help out. I've worked a route out to include a part of the Lakes, about 180 to 200 miles all in, starting from Hawes and ending up back at the digs, which will allow anyone still wanting more to ...

Re: Bike not starting

Has it been standing, coz it sounds like a clogged pilot jet to me, I've just had the same thing with the bike I bought recently.
Take the carbs off, clean them, take the pilot jets out clean and blow them with an air line, Also make sure the floats are moving correctly.

Re: Indicators not working

I've just had a look in the workshop manual and it looks like the green wire is earth/negative, the grey wire looks like it's switch live, switch on the handlebar, and the green and white wire looks like it's fused live.

Re: Clutch Bleeding/Bleedin' Clutch

Reverse bleed it with a syringe first till you see fluid in the reservoir, then bleed the normal way to finish off, at first it might feel like you're getting nowhere but just keep at it, it will happen, works for me every time

Re: Indicators not working

The original Honda flasher relay has 3 wires, I'm not a lover of Led indicators, so I'd just throw the Led ones away and put some proper ones on that firstly can be seen, and secondly in the event of a failure while you're out you can get bulbs from virtually anywhere.
