I have used cheap car oil in previous oil changes and noticed the clutch did slip of fast takeoffs Coming up to service time so going to stick some proper bike oil in next to see if there is a difference. My engine has 52k on it now with 30k being done by me with loads of different oils used... Now ...

I don't know if you would actually need vht paint for the rocker covers, I used standard hammerite silver on my gs's cylinders and it's coped no probs for six months now
A good etch primer is needed though!

Don't know about the course, but my shed is solar powered. Too lazy to lay a cable down the garden so I have pv cells charging a leisure battery powering my tools and bike charger :)

Touring it's a great bike, I actually got offered one today from a bloke at work! I didn't really have a problem hustling it about but that is the main gripe of most people. Was at dungey b for work a while back, there is an awesome little hump back bridge over the railway just off of the coast road...two wheels off the deck at six in the morning on the way to work was the norm!

The shock spacer increases the angle at which the bike sits to gain better handling. In doing so it also increases the distance the side stand needs to reach (slightly), so increasing the lean of the bike (think triangles) :think:
