Re: Fork height
I've dropped my yokes a bit (helps the bike turn in a bit faster!
) so I have 10mm from the top of the clipon to the top of the tube.

All that's missing from the list is the warning that the tools are all made from the finest Japanese copied Wensleydale cheese.

Exhausts and the law.
A friend of mine has just bought a Ducati 848 Streetfighter and it is lovely.
She didn't go for the factory Termis for it but...
she was told that they come with a certifcate that you have to carry when they are fitted.
Any ideas what that's about? Anti tamper laws?

Re: modified top yoke
Wouldn't have thought so. IIRC the forks are different diameters between the VTR and CBR.spider13 wrote:would you say the top yoke on the cbr600 was the same used as the storm,as im watching one on fleabay and look very simular

Re: Standard frok oil
Accordint to the Haynes Bible you need;
448 +/- 2.5 cc of 10W oil in each leg.
I use 15W oil and others on here use different weights as well. But standard is 10W.

Re: modified top yoke
This is what I did to my CBR6 after dropping it at Silverstone. Risers from eBay. Just needed to drill 2 holes in the standard yoke to accept them. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s95/jesterSV650S/CBR%20Fighter/PICT0004.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s95/jesterSV650S/CBR%20Fighter/PICT000...

A purely hypothetical question.
One for you clever engineers to ponder! :lol: Classic Minis (Not those nasty German things) can be converted to gear driven cams. Would it be possible to do the same to the 'Storm? Why am I asking? 1. Because I'm curious, 2. I don't think it's been asked before, 3. I love the sound of gear driven ca...
