Just wanted to ask who is using these type kits with lighter slide springs so you do not have to make a permanent hole in your slides .

Guys take it from some one who knows a bit about the subject . Use the bike oils in bike engines . You cannot see the additional anti-wear additives nor can you see the cheap polymers " Viscosity Index Improvers " that car 10w-40's are loaded up with . These polymers uncoil as the oil heat...

Yeah me bad for assuming they were like some other tensioners I've seen .

Looks like there's an easy painless fix for the problem though .
