Bike or performance bikes did a review of the dan moto pipes some time ago and I seem to remember they didn't think they were that good of a build quality.

That said I haven't tried or seen them myself but the prices are quite tempting.

I'm not sure why people get so annoyed with the whole sorn thing, if you don't intend to tax and have the bike on the road then just sorn it.
