Re: petrol splash back on fill up

Hmm this has brought two points to mind! Splashes a bit but as above I either stick the nozzle in deeper or just fill slower. 1) I been wondering if my side stand was a tad long, the bike does not lean over enough for my liking and it does not make much difference on SS or filling it whilst astride ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Fitted a cyclone v2 alarm, gave her a wash and then took her to the local petrol station for some juice.
Will check the battery tomorrow

Re: Hi

I pass box hill every work day and often stop for a smoke just after 08:00.
I'm up for a run there to :) BTW, although everyone probably knows already, Sunday lunchtime is when it fills with bikes.

Re: Had a ride today, bit nippy tho :0)

My cold was more from the tank. I have to grip the tank to keep that point of contact else I will slide forward and have a different point of contact which i don't fancy one bit. :eek2
Has no one designed a seat with a raised front, or perhaps heated tank grips?

Re: what have you done to your storm today

Sorted out my starting problem, removed start motor tried to open it , , , Gave up, there was no way the two side screws were going to let go, tried heat, penatrating oils and impact driver (electric one). Gave the Storm a wash, got up a bit quick and knocked off left hand mirror :( Cut a big hole i...

Re: Greetings and Salutations....

Welcome.

Today I bashed the wire loops about 1/2 inch towards the tank, seat slides on and off like a dream and it took about 5 seconds to do both. Seat in place looks fine and appears engaged.

Re: WORKSHOP DAY.

Any spaces left? Not sure if I will have CCT's by then, getting my alarm first and will likely have it fitted but if I can't find something I need to do (there are a few things in mind) then I'd like to watch the CCT's in prep for my attempt. If nothing else I'll make tea, be a spanner boy, take som...
