Re: Removing front trim?
Ta guys. It's all off and all my bits are round at the painters now :) What a c**t of a piece to get off though. Every part of the bike was attached to it and the nut inside one of the headlight fittings had come loose inside the plastic so I couldn't unscrew the bloody thing. Had to pull it out wit...

Removing front trim?
I cant seem to find it in the haynes manual, but can someone tell me how I go about removing the front trim panel thats just under the screen (the one with the running light in it)? Do I need to remove the whole fairing? In good news, I've just fitted my new PB lowers. Looks mint and Im well chuffed...

Signwriters vinyl
My bike is going in for a lick of paint over the next few days as Im fitting some fairing lowers and wanted bits of the bike done in the same colour. If signwriters vinyl is applied on the paint BEFORE the lacquer, will it stick properly and will it look as shiny as the paint or will the lacquer jus...

Box Hill and Bookham
Seen a black Storm with Art cans parked up two bikes down from mine at Box Hill and someone on a red Storm around Bookham. Was it any of you lot? Whoever was on the red Storm, it didn't half look fast

Re: Which jet kit?
I'll be over at HM doing some dyno runs Wednesday, assuming they have time available. I'll ask them if they want to do a forum discount deal. That would be good :D Ta for that. Had a look at their webby and it's a short jaunt down the M25 for me. Not far at all. If the wife passes her DAS later thi...

Re: Which jet kit?
Tony, who's the guy you use? Does he do a same day turnaround? North Kent ain't really that far from me taken in the context of a day out and the only dyno places I know around here are the Suzuki garages and they charge a bloody fortune. I know it won't be cheap no matter where I go but I would rat...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today I have mostly been getting shown by my local mechanic how to do fork springs, seals and bushes whilst he carried out the work on my bike with the occasional helping hand from me. I didn't arf learn a lot today. Anyone who lives around Kingston/New Malden or anywhere close, look up (google) Rev...

Which jet kit?
Don't know if this belongs here or in the workshop section, so apologies if it needs moving. Im thinking about fitting a jet kit (already got end cans and k&n fitted) but don't know which one to go for. What are the pro's and cons of dynojet vs the factory pro kits and what real world advantage ...

Re: Rear sprocket
Ok, so I cleaned the bike today, done the chain, sprockets and wheel etc with some paraffin and got it all cleaned up. Turns out the sprocket coating has worn on both sides but the inside was being hidden by muck. The wheel was slightly out but by next to nothing but I still sorted it out so all sho...
