Finally got round to doing something about this today. After plugging all the holes in the airbox I attacked the screwhead with increasing sizes of drills until eventually I managed to jam a flatblade screwdriver in it and out it came. I ordered a replacement screw from David Silvers which turned up ...

You are right Tony, hindsight is a wonderful thing and it was an old scewdriver. Didn't think they would be so bl**dy tight!

I'll have a go at cutting a slot in it and let you know how I get on.

Thanks for the welcome. In reply to the questions, no it isn't teal it's a blue F3 so it has the finned reg-rec. I need to do something about the CCT's but not sure whether to try the stopper mod or fit a pair of manuals. And no, the Puch Maxi was the N model. Single speed and a rigid back end ...
