Hello, I recently bought a VTR and when it arrives, I plan to strip off the exhaust, remove the corrosion and clear lacquer to prevent further rust. The studs are 8mm on the engine side and 6mm on the flange, I warmed mine up gently and thenm worked them back and forth about a 1/4 turn at a time, took my time and they came out. I replaced the original different sized studs with a Stainless Steel 40mm long set screw with the head cut off to make ...

I'm looking for one too, the do seem very hard to find.. and £50 is a lot of cash ... might come across one at sometime, i'll keep looking

I had the front 2 of mine seized in, they both broke off !. I heated them up a bit and as said before just worked it back and forth 1/4 turns and they came out. I replaced the stepped size ones with 40mm stainless set screws 8mm all the way, and cut of the head off to make new studs... Hey presto no...
