Re: Exhaust headers

Thanks mate! Got a little annoyed around the welds and other fiddly bits...will be investing in a few drill ends next time! So I am sure it will take less time and look better.

Exhaust headers

Ok I decided I wanted to clean my headers as they were rotten! I got to work having seen some amazing results from a couple of other guys. The end result is by no means professional but it is the first time and next time will be better! http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb326/StormyRob/Mobile%20Up...

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?

I could not sleep at all last night. Hard to come off night shifta sometimes! Anyway I decided to throw a couple of dollars onto online poker. Entered a 2 dollar tournament with 113 others. Won the tournament and had 173 dollars coming my way (£114). So that will either go towards what I have alread...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Today I got the polishing kit out for an hour to make a start on my headers. Only had an hour so will be getting it more tomorrow. Hard work but I think it will be worth it. Even managed to make a drill stand! http://i1200.photobucket.com/albums/bb326/StormyRob/Mobile%20Uploads/20151130_174448_zpskz...

Re: Wheel preparation for powder coating?

I had the wheels on my last storm powder coated.

The guy was decent and told me himself about where he would not want powder coat.

He asked for the wheels...with tyres..but no bearings and they came back fantastic.

Thats just a personal experience.

Kev that looks fantastic.

I am of the same mindset. My goal is to make my old cheap £900 firestorm look better. And a deep clean will help.
