Re: Speedometer correction

Yeah, use a torque marker (paint pen) and mark the needed speed limits on the plastic bezel of the the speedo clock. cheap and simple, works for me.

Re: Caliper mounting bolt snapped

It's only 22ft/lb torque, that isn't a great deal so go easy on the new one. If they have been over tightened in the past best to get 4 new ones, don't think they are expensive from Fowlers Agree, replace them all, if one has been over tightened the chances are they all have been stretched close to...

Re: 2006 FireStorm for sale

Just a bump on this before I tell him to advertise it elsewhere, I think he'd quite possibly take anything from £1,200 to £1,500 for it, with only having done 6,000 genuine miles might be worth a look for someone

Re: De baffle standard cans

was it cheekykev that done the really neat job that still looks standard? Yes it was me, but unless you're a competent sheet metal worker / fabricator, and also a competent tig welder I'd give it a miss and try the method put forward by MacV2 above. Mine was a complete strip out and rebuild of all ...

Re: Sad news

There are no words that I can think of that can tell you how sorry I feel for you.
He was a great guy and a pleasure to be around, he will be missed by the lads on this forum, bit missed a lot more by you and your family.
So sorry to hear this awful news.
RIP Norman

Re: Op storm V yorkshire dales 2019

I'll have a look to see if I can find an alternative route adding to Gabies, i really don't think heading into Scarbourgh on a Saturday afternoon in Mid May is a good idea, there's plenty of other roads in that area worth doing.

2006 FireStorm for sale

Someone I know recently got in touch with me about a 2006 FireStorm he is getting rid of, for a couple of reasons I'm not that interested in it, one is it needs quite a lot of work doing to it (which is reflected in the price) and two I already have 2 FireStorms and a SP2. So I thought I'd offer it ...

Works for me every time, in fact I use it all over the bike.
Like Tony said, let the idiots on fakebook crack on, I'm sure they all know better than us.
