Re: sp1 colour scheme
Yeah looks like I was right, I feel like a right bloody geek now :D He didn't bother to mention any of this in the advert did he :?:  no other damage whatsoever :?: the gear lever's bent back :confused maybe just me but I wouldn't trust him unless it can be picked up cheap, very cheap :th...
Re: VTR SP2
Ok I'll make it simple, both bikes are Honda Jewel in the crown. Imagine you had an SP1 and a Honda Fireblade lets say the a 1998/9 version because it would be unfair to put an SP up against a new Fireblade, carl forgerty was cloned and so each had fogey riding them, they were on the start up line ...
Re: VTR SP2
It’s very difficult to give you any help here without knowing what you intend doing with it, the older FireBlade and the SP2 are two totally different machines, both fantastic bikes in their own right. The Fireblade you refer to is a fantastic all rounder and does what it says on the tin, and does i...

Re: sp1 colour scheme
Chinese replacement fairing set? Yes that looks like the answer to the mystery, never thought of that one. If you look at the pictures on the advert you can see that the left bar end weight is missing and the gear lever is bent back, there’s also a screw holding the tail section down just behind th...

Re: sp1 colour scheme
I think you’ll find that this is not the correct colour scheme for that year/model in this country. All SP1s in this country were red, and were run from late 1999 through till late 2001 , you can get hold of some late registered models as late as 2002 and even 2003 , but they were still in red. It w...
Re: VTR SP2
Fantastic bikes, I love mine, but then again I always wanted one since the day they came out. JUST GET IT, you'll have a permanent smile on your face from that day on :D  The only thing, I'd say to you is, don't fall into the trap of thinking it will be like a Firestorm, It is nothing like ...

Re: Not the first time, wont be the last
People like that just p**s me right off, about a year ago I saw a guy do it someone's bike in the local Tesco car park, he knocked the bike over, got out of his car to see what he'd hit, then had the cheek to get back in his car and attempt to drive off :Mad3: me and my partner stood in the road to ...

Re: music of choice whilst riding
I can't listen to music when riding. Anything that has the ability to take my attention away from the important task of riding is far too dangerous for me. I'm with you on this George, listening to music while riding a bike will definitely one day end in tears. These days you need to be alert with ...

ACF50 is your friend. Stops any corrosion that is already there and forms a film that stops any further corrosion starting. Check it out on the web. good enough for aircraft, good enough for the bike. :D Another excellent product is GT85, the red one is best for what you want to use it fo...
