Re: Workshop in Yorkshire

OK I've read the carb balancing guide and that too seems pretty straight forward, however we'll need a brass 5mm take off and a 'T' piece for each bike that is to be checked plus a couple of meters of 5mm silicone / rubber vac hose to pipe it up to allow subsequent checks, so who’d like their carb...

Re: Workshop in Yorkshire

cheers I'll give it a read, i've just been looking on the carb tune website but the info is a little general the post in your link should make things clear. I've already printed out the cct removal procedure (looks pretty straight forward) although I'm thinking modding the OE tensioners (new ones we...

Re: Workshop in Yorkshire

OK that sounds like a plan, who's in? It is still worth fitting the vac take off on the front intake when you have the airbox off when doing CCT, so if there is time order 4 from carbtune. once the pipe work is in, doing the balance is easy. I can post my balance gauge up if anybody wants to try it ...

Re: Workshop in Yorkshire

Looks like we have 5 for definite, so if we decide on 8 minimum we need 3 more to confirm, how likely is this ? I’d say given the relatively low level of interest it’s unlikely but it’s got to be worth a try especially now the nights are drawing in and potential weather will only deteriorate a...

Re: Today's (Saturday) run

that's exactly what happened to a pal of mine on a RGV years ago, I think I was telling Chris about it yesterday, it flicked him up so he appeared to be doing a handstand on the bike, just like the guy in the video clip mind you he didn't save it and the RGV was no more, my mate was more fortunate t...
