My mate sold his Falco and his TREK1130. He has now bought a KTM SuperDuke 1290 He rated the Falco but wrists and knees had become an issue. He had it 14 years and put over 30k on it. But could have been worse. Think I better get some weights to the bugger is heavier than you realise when it's on the ground

Dented pride.
Broken lever replaced
Bar ends replaced
Indicator replaced.
Fairing scraped but ok
Exhaust scraped hanger bent.
Hanger now straight

Knees scrapped and bruised, but they have been worse!!


That's it folks, gut my nice shinny, loud fuel exhaust is dented, all within 500 yards of home.

Slippy road, new tyres numpty on top and walking pace, what more do you want.

Done a " Mac " today at about 10mph
wombles off to say the least scapes mostly.
Including my knee!!!
Sometimes it's not safe to let me out on my own!!!!!

Knees just won't take more than about 50 miles.
Ref The TDM is a Mk 1 so loads of possible issues and all the bloody shims need doing, but I love the look always have done

Just had my second covid test tonight :( Still feeling really rough from 27 december. Absolutely wiped out, no energy and coughing like an old horse. Got sent to hospital by gp for test, bloods and x ray - they woyldnt do anything and told me to go to testing station!!!!! So i await the result Hope...
