Re: Dead Bike Recovered by AA

Thanks for the replies... Main 30A fuse is good. All other fuses good. Nothing blown. I've pulled off and cleaned all the connectors I can see, and there is no corrosion. (AA man also did this, and removed the clock module - will I lose my mileage record?) I've now noticed the ignition lights (oil p...

Dead Bike Recovered by AA

Just got in from recovery by AA from Grantham to home. Out enjoying the sun, stopped for a fag break, bike re-started, ran 100 yards and died. No electrics at all, nothing. Battery showing a good 12v, regulator gone? Any ideas welcome, it's too late now to start stripping it down tonight, but I'll n...

Do the CCT mods - every owner has a responsibility to preserve parts, don't let your engine die.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Went for a blast to keep it charged.
Cold but fun. The cold dense air, rich in oxygen, pushes up volumetric efficiency and your engine feels great. 1 hour was enough to get my fix.

Re: Leathers sizing...

Go to JTS Biker Clothing in Coalville and try some on. They'll even let you (encourage you!) to go outside and sit on your bike to try them in a riding position. I did this with a view to then buying off the internet once I knew the size, but they were so good and did me a good deal I bought from th...

I believe they used to tip the wings of the doodlebugs to change their course to somewhere less populated.

Write me down for this one!
By a combination of craft and guile I've got the day off and a pass from the missus!

Re: Rutland rideout saturday 2nd March 2013.

Was at Grantham Honda yesterday at about 2:00pm. It was a last minute thing, wife went out, sun came out, so I went out. 100miles, lots of bikes few cars, big fun. There were not many at GH though, but I had a look at the new Honda Integral (I think it's called that anyway) Looks like a replacement ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Took it out of the shed,
Smelt it,
Over to garage,
filled it,
Ear plugs in,
Rode it :D :D :D

A nice 50 miler as soon as the snow went to get the battery charged. Very nice run, a few bikes out, quite warm.

Then home, washed, leathered and put away. Great day!
