Re: new bike for this yr

Nice one Budd  although nothing wrong with your well modified Aprilia in my eyes. I have always liked the look of these RC8's, I even have a scaled down model of one, Chris. TBH Chris you're right there's nothing wrong with my Aprilia (well apart from its reluctance to start on occasion) i...

Re: new bike for this yr

Yummy! I always fancied one of them too. It'l be great to see it (and hear it) in the flesh. I nearly traded the SP in for one when it came out....but only nearly :D your honda will be a better long term investment Pete and I would really have liked an SP but they are to low and long for my dodgy k...

Re: new bike for this yr

I do like the idea of one of those things. All the adjustment should suit you as well with your gammy leg. Oh, and FFS, clean up that trials bike! yeah they have quite a wide range of adjustment and is one of the reasons I opted for it I'm currently trying to work out how to adjust the seat height ...

no the ape will be sold, I'll return it to stock, hopefully it will be easier in std trim, plus I'll sell off the bits and pieces I fitted to it separately.

Re: Op Storm Wales Sep 13th to 15th 2019

top weekend as usual made all the better by the stunning weather, thanks to everyone for the excellent 'craic'. It was nice to have a pit crew to sort the hateful Aprila, the problems started early when I kicked the rear indicator off (and this before i'd even got it off the drive !!) thanks to Kev ...

Re: New Honda project bike...

Check under the arms of the swinger, Ive had a cbr6 that was rotted through half way along, but didnt realise until I took a rotary wire brush on a grinder to the paint, I then did the same to the 1000 and it had a couple of small holes. They rust from the inside out so by the time the bottom has p...
