Re: brake pads EBC HH or Extreme Pro + rear spring removal

I agree spending over £70 on front brake pads does sound a little crazy, when other brands EBC, SBS, Bendix etc cost a around £40 for a set,

Re: brake pads EBC HH or Extreme Pro + rear spring removal

Neither! lol Get yourself some SBS pads, either the more street friendly Street Excel, or if your a hooner, get the Race Sintered! Much much better pads, and much cheaper too!! I had looked at these but was put of by a couple reports of rapid wear and lots of dust, plus I couldn't find a supplier t...

brake pads EBC HH or Extreme Pro + rear spring removal

I've been looking for some pads to relace the very poor Kyotos currently fitted, based on reccommendations for this site and other plus the lack of pad options for the std caliper, I'd pretty much decided to fit EBD HH pads. However when searching for the best price I came across EBC Extreme Pro com...

Alnong with painting the wheels (another thread) I'm giving my VTR1000 a once over prior to taxing it Apr 1st ready for some decent weather (well I can hope ) in order to deal with it's handling issues it's getting some new fork springs and if funds allow a rear shock or if not maybe just a rear spr...

Re: suspension options / opinions please

Ask Roger at Revolution. He'll tell you the same as he's told all of us; that even with a Blade front end you'll still need to have work done changing the damping and springs/oil. I fitted some Hyperpro for a member the other week and was quite impressed, they came with 7.5 wt oil of good quality. ...

suspension options / opinions please

Now I know this subject as probably been covered at length over the years but if you’ll bear with me I just want to run down the options available re improving the OE suspension. Initially I want to concentrate on the front end but I realise the rear shock is equally important and I’ll deal with...

Re: Hi from forum newbie

Cheers I'll look into those, l'm building a Impreza race car at the mo so funds for the VTR are tight to say the least, while I don't want to cut corners budget is a major issue and I don't really want to start a new project while the Impreza build is on going, that said if I can got hold of some ch...
