Re: It's that sunny....

Bearing in mind our previous conversation mate, Oh baldrocks, springs to mind. Hope you go up in front of a bike friendly magistrate (does such a thing exist?). Do you have any union or AA/RAC cover that would supply legal advice? Probably best not to refer the magistrate to your posts about airfiel...

Re: off the clock!

That was the old Chief Constable, Richard Brunstrom (I think thats how it's spelt!). He was famously anti bike and very anti speed. His main claim to fame was authorising the use of photographs of a decapitated biker, without the authority of the family, to publicise the effects of excess speed on m...

Re: off the clock!

Certainly around Hertfordshire (Gods country!!!) the back roads, non motorway/dual carriageways are still bad with very little apparent investment in improvement. Still I am sure the Government will jump in with some of the revenue acquired from speeding fines, RFL's, petrol taxation etc to improve ...

Re: off the clock!

Not an unreasonable argument, I would suggest. The only reason for the demise of some GATSO equipment is the greed of central Government over local councils. It will be interesting to see how it pans out in the near future. What are your views on riding kit? Is it better to ride with minimal kit, th...

Re: off the clock!

The only answer is to seek out members of the local constabulary, in a less "off road" enviroment, and get them to take your picture. You can then prove the point of your immense speed to the satisfaction of all nay sayers. Of course the resulting prison sentence and attention of large, fe...

Re: off the clock!

Nicely done young man. Beware if 5 O get a bead on you though. That would be a little time away, being afraid to pick the soap up in the showers! What model have you got, SP1 or 2? (and which colour is it, as I have noticed even in my short time on the forum that the colour is the deciding fa...

Re: Tell me why

Thanks very much for the quick response chaps. The Mrs doesn't want me to get a white one now  There was a beauty parked outside Bikestop in Stevenage today, white with a custom finish, but I didn't have the opportunity to stop and gawp. The bike will be used for the crack with a bit of a comm...

Tell me why

Hi to you all. I am new to this site and have joined partly for some advice and guidance. I have ridden (legally) since I was 16 on a variety of formats, singles, twins, triples and fours, with the majority recently being fours. All have been Japanese, as the Brit industry was in decline by the time...
