Also having the same problem and i have checked everything.
Tried two brand new battery's but to no avail, i'm pulling out my hair along with my local garage. :(

As soon as a booster pack is connected she fires up straight away!
Any ideas on what else to check?

Mine is also oem and fills the gap, but the water still crept in that day! :(

Front Cylinder Drain Hole?

No, don't know what i mean? :) In other words like most V Twins the front cylinder usually has a drain hole near the bottom of the spark plug in case water gets in there... Has the VTR got one? Because i cant find one! Just thought mine might be blocked or something as they usually do. After riding ...

Yes they were insured luckily and just glad i caught it happen as you in most cases the other party always does a runner.

Im in the same boat. But i was told that your full Motorcycle licence also acts as a car provisional. just been on the dog n bone to dvla and dsa. it appears im exempt from taking the car theory test and dont need to do it ... it appears my theory i did for my bike test covers me.. Interesting... ha...

Hacked off the steering lock already! lol. :)
You can start the storm with a single bit of wire... the clue... take of the clocks and bridge a connection behind. ;)

Replaced the headstock bearings with Honda OEM, steering was fine but didnt matter how tight they would still clonk/knock when i hit bumps in the road.
