Re: Chain Adjustment?
On my old storm the lower link pipes (micron) was spot on and with no problems. And bolted through the inside of the footrest hanger with no problems. Chain clearance was brilliant. On my current Storm, the high level link pipes (dont know brand) does not have any mounting points and yet again are g...

Re: Handlebar Grips - what glue?
Can't beat that bif of hairspray to get the grips on easily got to agree.
Never use grip glue again makes life a pain trying to get grips on!
In the past i have usually used super glue as well to be honest, but most decent grips are not a very tight fit.

Re: A few questions
C'mon peeps the odd 'o' or 'x' ring breaking is not a problem, just keep that chain well lubed. Few year back when chains did not have the new rubber rings, we had no problems with them then and lasted just as long! The new generation of chains with rubber rings are just there for lazy people not to...
Re: fuel tap
Yes that sounds like the right part of the diaphram.
Try to get it replaced asap, replacement was cheap when i replaced mine approx £10 which aint too bad.
Dont want petrol to pour over that rear header exhaust now. ;)

Re: Chain Adjustment?
Cheers for the reply Chris. Have adjusted the shock back down two notches to where is use to be and re-adjusted the chain and all seems alot better. Yes i understand about the crease or flat spot on the link pipe, perhaps i have pushed it on too far as the chain touched where it just starts to bend....

Re: Chain Adjustment?
Perhaps its a flaw on aftermarket pipes then? My high levels are fine, just the low levels as it already has a mark where the chain has run across it before but that was my fault once when i was too lazy to adjust the chain. :) It just seems closer than before, strange. For now i have slipped on an ...
