Got a bit more done today..........cleaned the front of the dirty engine with some Gunk.
Checked the valve clearances [which were non existant],sprayed the corroded front fork legs black.
Stripped off a load more heavy junk and fitted the EBC discs......

I bend and form tube for a living and have worked with titanium occasionally. The softer, more malleable grades are quite straightforward - Grades 1 & 2. Some of the harder, more springy grades are 'kin 'orrible and really test my patience. Of course, if you use a softer grade then the finished...

Yeah I think its going to be too unmanageable to work with as the thinner it is the springier and thicker gear is so tuff to work and kin' expensive.

Hi folks,don't know if you'd be interested in my latest project,I know it aint a Storm but I enjoy doing the spanner work just as much as riding..... I've used Hammerite smooth spray cans with good effect on the spring,don't know if they do yella but red is very nice too and its pretty hard wearing.

Anybody have experience of working with titanium....?

Hi folks,as the title really.Need to make an exhaust hanger and would like to use titanium.
I've fondled some thin sheet and it is very springy,does anyone know if 2mm would be less so?

They can look good when butchered, what plans have you got? Just the usual brakes/handling Al,I picked up a brand new GSXR1000 rear shock,Scorpion titanium pipe and can a set of Dyna coils and Taylor leads,to be honest when it was delivered it ran like a bag of nails so I will go through the carbs ...
