Thanks guys, it will teach me to buy the oil and then look at the work shop manual! Lol I'll use the 10w40 and take the 30 back. I'd rather go with the manual and avoid a potential issue. This is my first post so all you help is really appreciated. [emoji106]

Hi all, I've been away from the VTR scene for many years and when I last had one I used to get it serviced at the local dealers. I've now bought a 29 year old Storm with 35k on her and thought I'd change the oil myself. I went to the local dealer and asked them fir oil and they sold me Castro 10w-30...
