Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

It was a great day with temps in the high 20 s C and just glorious. Set off at 8 in the morning and got back at 4 in the arvo ( Afternoon )....

Looking good mate .
If you ever get the top fairing off could you take some pics of the headlight setup ?
I love the look of the offset light.

What a result,
Great to hear,
Now I can put the Aspro away.
Don't need much of an excuse for a beer but this result is enough!

Re: Maxx high rise pipes
Thanks mate, I currently have a shotgun system fitted to my bike however I much prefer the high one can per side look. Here is how it was after 3 different systems. Standard headers and projection racing high rise mounts. http://i1043.photobucket.com/albums/b434/kenmoore5321/Mobile%20Uploads/2017-07...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Yes it is unusual isn't it. It fools most people and they don't have a clue as to what make the bike is. Can you guess what most people say? I laugh every time someone says it ! I love sh1t stirring and this bike gets up some people's noses for how it looks, sounds and goes. The VTR is a great platf...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Made it back from the bike rally in one piece. Roughly 1,000 miles in 3 days. Lost my bloody phone so pics are scarce. Bike performed flawlessly. Saw a lot of weird machinery. What was evident is that motorcycling is alive and kicking. There was over 300 people and all sorts of machinery. There was ...

Re: Maxx high rise pipes
I have heard of Maxx, I think they are Aussie like us and now out of business. I am pretty sure that they were based in Melbourne. The headers are defo standard , it's the link pipes that are interesting. I would love to get a template for them and make them bigger diameter. Can you post some pics o...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Everything is light weight .
The tent etc weighs nothing, just bulky.
Won't take long to adjust to the extra weight.
Hopefully everything I need is onboard !

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Packed the VTR up for a trip . I am really looking forward to a trip to a bike rally. I have serviced the Storm with new chain and sprockets , 43 on rear now and at least I can cruise in top gear at 110KPH now instead of 5Th gear. Certainly livened things up and only revs about 250 more as opposed t...
