I had mice nest in my old GSThou air box quite a few years ago. Luckily they hadn't done any damage unlike Beamish's bike, they just nested in the void :!:

I only realised they had been there as I had to remove the air box first to gain access the battery so I could charge it.

redun, I've had a new CCT play up before, after about 1000 miles just like yours, so as LSM did I replaced it and that fixed it :!: I then inspected the old one. It appeared to me that there was a slight resistance with the plunger (when I retracted it with a small screwdriver in the end of the CCT)...

If you have a multi-meter have you checked at the battery terminals to see if there is a 12 volt supply coming from it :?: Have you checked for lose battery terminals, or if you fitted a new loom how about the connections at the opposite end of the battery leads, make sure they are tight also :!: Wh...
