Glad the first wee ride was good. What's she like in the twists? well ive done another 200 miles today, and I can honestly say, ive gelled with this bike, it isn't uncomfy at all but I do have long arms. Handling probably better than anything I have ever had and that Includes the WP and Forks done ...

so today I've done 120 miles on the VFR 1200. Poppers you are right, probably! the best depreciating bike there is, but wow what a bloody bike for under 5K with 2400 miles on it and absolutely mint except for a 2" scratch on a plastic panel. It goes so well, has plenty of torque and the brakes ...

2400 miles all the recalls done, 1 for the drive shaft etc, like new almost. Helibars fitted, all the luggage, yes it was cheapish but I would have paid more as the condition is concours. Viffer 1200F. oh so smooth, oh so bloody fast and the tank range is ok, I have to stop to pee every 75 miles anyway. wonderfully built, has all the luggage for France etc. 2400 miles since new.

At tick over its sweet, at 3000 revs its deafening. 158db pulling through 5000 revs it makes ya ears bleed. I need a bit of packing.

Hi All.

I have 2 cans with baffles but absolutely no packing in them. What do I buy, and do I pack it, loosely fill it? any advise is most welcome thank you.

Fitted locks to the Leather panniers ( stop chortling) changed the screen and removed the cat and Fitted Short Tor Pipes, tad loud, 131 db at 2400 revs, so awesome though.

Fitted the Sat nav and Phone charger.

Today, i removed the cat, removed the Long Standard cans and fitted the Short Tor Exhausts, Holy cow, the noise is phenomenal, superb low growl at tickover and just plain mental at 4000 revs, It truly sounds amazing. The engine spins up a bit quicker too and Ive done the obligatory 12 mins idle with...
