I think the panic is over!!! When i got back from the boxing day run it seemed to be running a bit hot and there looked to be some coolant in the belly pan. A great short bimble this morning with my brother in law(kawasaki z1000sx) , graham taxi driver on his dark blue mettalic storm and me on my dark blue storm. Earlier in this thread i admitted i was struggling to remove a bolt from the lower suspension carrier so as to be able to fit one of the brackets for my bellypan. It will have to the blade - ive hit a real problem with the storm

Cant shift one of the long bolts on the suspension carrier

Need to strip it all down

Sometimes my bike will start , other times it wont. Bike is on an optimate all time, but when i have been trying to start it gwts lazy pretty quickly and when optomate is re connected it start charging again. I just struggled to get a splitter in correct position

I voluntarily took the first exhaust off to refurbish it when he did the mcct, the second one i blught a storm with a failed front cct so the head had to come off - but i prevailed !!!!

I have used a dremel with a well used ie small diameter and cut as far through the nut as you can then using a small but very sharp cold chisel and split it

Has worked every time for me and I have taken two fronts off
