Re: Speeding...

I just done the speed awareness course last Friday. 35mph in a 30 mph I was snapped early one morning at the same speed/limit on an empty A road. Ho hum, but at least I have the course in September and no points. I must remember to keep looking down at my speedo at all times and plough through any ...

Re: best front brake pads

I have Ferodo sintered in mine and they are fine. I had EBC before. I find both better than OEM in the front but use standard at the rear as sintered are too grabby for my style of riding. Would you use slot of back break then? I'm a back brake fan and use it just as much as my fronts. Sent from my...

Re: givi hard luggage pictures needed

I've found some - and I think I still have the two wingracks kicking about in the garage somewhere. I'll have a look later and see what remains. I used the link plate for the top case on my TDM but that's easily replaced. You won't be able to use high levels though. The following don't show the moun...

Re: Re-Jetting due to exhaust????????

Surely the first thing to do is to take off the carbs and see what jets are in there and compare against the stock items? Whilst it may need rejetting for the cans it's not going to run as badly as you are experiencing on stock setup, so carb seating/choke cables etc first before going down other ro...

Re: givi hard luggage pictures needed

I used to run a full hard luggage system on mine. It was Kappa, with the wingracks etc. There is no standard fitting kit for the VTR but they did a universal kit which needed some slight modifications, but it did work well. I may have some pics but it was over 10 years ago when I then decided to get...

I would have thought that the carbs need removing and cleaning after three years of standing.

Re: Front fork full service/rebuild

If you have a leaking seal try using a Seal Mate. I've used mine on a couple of bikes and it worked every time. Just Google for one and they'll come up - also on Youtube.
