Re: Tank slapper when i take my hands off the bars
Hey All,
Thanks for all the help and advice, will reset front end and check bits youve mentioned this week. Have to admit it happens only around 50% of the time so redialling the suspension does make total sense.
Will post results shortly

Tank slapper when i take my hands off the bars
Hey guys, Had a bit of an interesting moment today. Took both hands off the bars to do up a zip and was great with a tankslapper which started out as a small wobble and grew quickly. I repeated this to check its not the road surface and sure enough it started wobbling away again. Anybody any ideas w...

Re: Trail Braking
Late braking is essentially braking, then cornering, then hitting the throttle in separete stages... Trail braking is where you more or less squeese the brakes until you hit the throttle... Gradually letting off, but braking all the way throught the corner... Makes the bike stay stable, no shifting...

Re: And I'm back... for the 4th time
Very well thanks Kev, so much so I've not had time to ride (literally). Feels great to be back on the road, and even better as it stops the cabin fever from being self employed.Kev L wrote:How's the business venture working out for you Squiffy?

Re: And I'm back... for the 4th time
Watcha Squiffy ! Bar end weights should fit L or R so any one will do you. I've got a pair of chav stylie chrome ones you can have if you want them. They don't fit as the standard ones do, you will have to push the inner weight down the bar a bit to fit them. But you can't complain really being fre...

And I'm back... for the 4th time
Hey All, Some of you might remember me from back in the day, I've just picked up my fourth firestorm after the last one was ruined by vandals. Super happy. 2000 model, FSH, 24k, Renegade cans and in (fastest) red :) If anybody has a LHS bar end weight they would like to sell me too that would be exc...
