Re: Exhaust Hangers & Straps?
You are probably right Mac, I'm probably jumping the gun with my impatience - It's taking 10 days to get here, so I was hoping to have the parts I need ready waiting for it

Exhaust Hangers & Straps?
I have pushed the boat out and sold my kidneys and sold the wife and kids and bought an SP1 It's being transported down here [Southern Spain] as I speak. It has a few spare parts too, including link pipes to raise the exhausts but as far as I know there are no hangers or adaptors or straps to make t...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I finally replaced my automatic CCT's with manual ones this week. I have had the manual ones sitting in a box for 8 months, so I was way overdue!
That's a weight off my mind!!!! so much so - I thought I'd share it

Re: Commuting
Got to agree [Storms aren't the best for town riding] I live in Spain but work in Gibraltar. Riding on wide open and winding roads through Spain is just perfect for the Storm, it sometimes feels like the best bike I've ever owned. The bike just comes into it's own and has that special feel But.........

Re: CBR125 Rectifier/Regulator?
Thanks guys, I've got another CBR125 Reg/Rec on the way but was just wondering if I've made the same mistake twice.
Does the SP1/SP2 Reg/Rec have the same fitting to slot straight on Benny?
If so, I might get one and keep the CBR125 one as a spare

Re: Is it ok to jump start a storm?
I had to call my wife out to help jump start my storm last night, 20 miles from home, the misus was revving the boll@cks of her VW Beetle while I did it... No problems at all and I was home for tea 15 minutes before she was :) She did say 'why the feck didn't you wait for me - you selfish barst@rd?'...

CBR125 Rectifier/Regulator?
About six months ago my original Rec/Reg died and fried my battery, I managed to get a secondhand CBR125 Rec/Reg as a replacement and happy days, I was back on the road again. Six months later it seems this one has burnt out too, didn't heat up and fry the battery this time but zero charge in it, ev...

Re: Help choosing a helmet
Perhaps I'm a little biased but anything sized large in AGV fits me like a glove, I have 4 AGV helmets, all 4 feel like old slippers straight out the box

Re: Hydraulic Lift/Table
Thanks for all the helpful info guys, very much appreciated.
I'm moving house very soon and will have a decent sized garage for the bikes, so space isn't an issue. I will look at the do-it-yourself options if not it's looking like machine mart

Hydraulic Lift/Table
I have a knackered back, which is only going to get worse, it seems to hold up with riding a bike but, foook! does it ache when working or cleaning a bike and generally bending down etc. So I was looking at getting one of those hydraulic lift tables but they are quite expensive! and very heavy to ge...

Re: Safety Apparel
Got to say....although it's all wrong, I wear shorts and t-shirts in July and August down here in Southern Spain. I have been a motorcycle instructor too, so it makes it even more wrong but the heat is just unreal during the Summer to wear all the kit. Having said that I also have a fear of turning ...
