Centre Cap - Alternator Cover

Bazza's CCT's have arrived [fine looking CCT's they are too] so the first job in the New Year is to get them fitted. My understanding is the centre cap on the alternator cover is like butter, so I'm guessing it's best to get a replacement in before I attempt the job. Is there any alternative to the ...

Re: bollox bollox bollox bollox

Sorry to hear the bad news Benny. Don't forget it's not just your bike you are claiming for. It's your injuries too, a broken hand is probably a 3 - 5k pay out, also your helmet, jacket, jeans, taxi rides to and from the hospital etc etc. Start making your list and get all your injuries documented a...

Re: Bazza Where Art Thou?

I have done a search through all the 'B' on the memebers list but I just don't see his name.   I know how that feels. Until I discovered that at the top of members list, Username, Rank, Posts, Website Location, etc etc act as tabs. So if you click on Username you can then scroll thr...

Bazza Where Art Thou?

I've been trying to find Bazza's profile to pm him, I need to order a set of CCT's. I've been putting this job off for 6 months, so I'm way overdue to get it sorted. I have done a search through all the 'B' on the memebers list but I just don't see his name. Is his profile name different to plain Ba...

Re: Guarding against road salt?

@lloydiecbr As for getting a car, I've already got mine and the wifes but cars are fiddler aren't they, that's why I'm a biker. Never a truer word said or better put! I have a car and so does my wife but they are a bit like life's tools, a washing machine or tumble dryer, a metal box you have to lo...

Re: Paddock Stand?

The Abba stand looks a good bit of kit, only problem is - I have a couple of other bikes and Abba don't make the adaptor kit for them

Paddock Stand?

Can anyone recommend a decent make/model paddock stand for a VTR.

I'm looking to get something reasonably cheap, that I can hopefully use on other bikes as well as the Storm.

I'm looking for a rear stand but would consider a set [front & rear] if the price isn't ridiculous

Re: Me petrol Tanker pics!

The tank looks very good, paint job blends it in perfectly - nice job!

On the subject of filling up at the petrol station - what's the secrete? I get a back-splash whatever I do - pump slow, pump fast, slide my nozzle in deep, slide my nozzle in shallow - back splash!

Re: Raising Your Rear!

Got to say, I'm not too disappointed with the over all handling as it is, it seems to eat sweeping bends at 90 -110 with comfort [on decent roads] it's mainly the tighter bends on lesser roads with a cr@ppier surface where I feel the front end is a little soft. Having said that, if I can make some i...
