i had a datatool on mine and the battery would be flat inside a week if i didn't hook it up to the optimate. had it on an optimate from new and the battery lasted 8 years untill i sold the bike and the battery needed changing then....as i couldn't start the bike...DOH!!!

Hey stu, good to hear from you, you should drop by more often, there are quite a few with out storm here now, you're allowed to talk to us even with the grass track bike.

There's also a joint in the rear exhaust downpipe next to the rear shock thats a fav for leaks as it's difficult to see.

What vac relief valves?...where do they go then? whats they meant to do like? i re-read the thread and must have still missed you mentioning them.

i could be wrong but i think there was an email went round from them about subbing out injured riders etc for free as there are a few who haven't started the season etc and they were changing a few riders for people, i'll see if i've still got it in my mail box somewhere

The aria i have has a pull down wind deflector under the chin, it's the Astro J. can't say that it makes much difference to me though.
