Re: insurance grumble (nothing new im sure)

Insurance renewal time is horrible. Current insurer gives a renewal quote of a couple of hundred more than previous year that will "automatically renew unless you tell us otherwise". Next step is to go onto the comparison sites to find the best insurer is the one you are with and its a cou...

Re: Show us your street Storms

It seems opinions are quite split on these bikes and although I'm a fan of some street bikes I never used to feel that the storm looked right unfaired until recently where a few have started cropping up on Faceb*** which actually look pretty good and almost factory .   No they dont....

Re: About to be stormless...for now

Feeling your pain Rob as I was nearly reluctantly Stormless this week. At least you will have a nice place to be while the weather is crap.

Enjoy the Audi and hope you get back on 2 wheels soon.

Re: Underground park

We have been parking like this, no other bikes and 150 cars for a few weeks, which was nice. Ran into & had a chat one arvo. We're both on this forum, he's a Geordie, @VTRDownunder #VTRDownunder I do believe: http://www.digital.uwa.edu.au/__data/assets/image/0007/3376888/vtrz.jpg Black bike has...

Re: Dipping VS Painting?

I've seen a few wheels done and quite a lot of car parts like engine covers and interior parts which look good and putting down a design must be easier and cheaper than painting in layers. I do wonder how dipping would fare coming into daily contact with things like stones, gravel and general crap f...

Dipping VS Painting?

I've been toying with the idea of smartening up the VTR over the winter whilst it won't be getting ridden. The fairings have always looked like they could do with a sand, repair and repaint but that got me thinking about getting them dipped instead. I'm clueless as to the pros and cons of each proce...

With gasket as well? That would take some beating.
