Re: US/UK VTR Project.
What a juggler . Hope they didn't charge you for the work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don't want to comment. Just so you all know, I'm over it. The bike is legal (once the v-5 is received and I'm able to purchase the number plate). The whole fiasco is in the past. So what's next? I'm not o...

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
So the bike is legal. The garage who worked on it did practically nothing and then passed it on the MOT. He didn't adjust the headlight. He tried fitting the flasher relay but it just made the turn signals really dim, so he put the stock relay back on. and he adjusted the throttle and passed the MOT...

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
To be clear, this is a uk bike I bought from a bloke in Cambridge. The only parts that I have added is a US frame, fairings and tail light. I added front LED lights which go from off to amber to off when switching them on. Granted, they flash a little fast, but they work as the MOT requirements say ...

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
Based on what you have just said, my cable is routed correctly. I believe I just had it adjusted too tight.

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
When I took off the push cable, it left alot of slack. When I adjusted the pull cable, I think I made it too tight. I don't like the throttle tube to have any play before it revs the engine. Looks like for MOT purposes I'll have to live with a little slack or reinstall the push cable. MacV2, my bike...

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
The bike failed the MOT. The flashers were too fast (I didn't install the resistors after fitting the led lights), the headlight had kick up on the right side and at full right lock, the engine would rev. To be fair, I know about the throttle. Its just an adjustment thats needed. And the flasher cou...

Re: US/UK VTR Project.
Ok, I have some stock signals from a Suzuki Bandit I'll use. There practically the same as stock VTR ones.
