Re: PAIR System removal

Hi,I know this is an old thread, but I now list a kit to block and remove the PAIR's system. Simple to fit and no messing with the read valves, as the plates have recesses for the screw heads. I also have kits for the i4 engines https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-VTR1000-Firestorm-XL1000V-Varadero-PAI...

Re: Cutting out on long sweeping left bends

Hi, it could be fuel starvation as mentioned. I have had the same symptoms, that was over time, getting worse since June, cutting out after 30 miles plus, leave it minute and it would restart fine. I suspected my new rectifier that I got cheap as the voltage was a bit erratic. So fitted a Yamaha MOS...

Re: Exhaust cans

Got myself a VFR800 Vtec now. (still got the VTR). As soon as I got it home it got the full strip down treatment, and is slowly going back together. PAIR's mode (which I sell for almost all Honda's including the VTR1000), wires and fuse mods. Just got to make my own rear exhaust system, which is a h...

Hi, I have 2 MTC cans for sale. They are the 2" slip on. They are the can's only and the rubber strap's that go under the Stainless bolt on strap's. They also have the decibel killers fitted. They don't have the connecting pipes, clamps or Stainless strap's, as I have used them for the can's I ...

Re: Bikes can be dangerous.

That happened to me years ago with a Jap import 750 Hurricane. The Jap bikes have the side stand to vertical so they can park more it small spaces. I had just packed out side a shop, got of and was just going to walk away. One foot on the path the other still on the road with my back to the bike. It...

Re: RoadSmart III

New tyres always feel good [emoji6] I know that new always feel better that old ones, but I have tried all sorts over 40 years plus, and these are the best I have ever had. My old one were not worn out, and I never even bothered to see what they were, and they don't show up in any of the pictures I...

RoadSmart III

I had some Donlop RoadSmart III fitted a few weeks back, and what a difference to the way it handles. No longer am I constantly correcting it. Change of surface in corners were horrid, and tracked every grove in the road. It is now very neutral (like my 750 hurricane,) so can now have full confidenc...
