Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Wow super rare collectors item. Really that belongs in a museum sitting alongside an SP1. Funny how the exhaust has already started to discolour and it's barley left the factory.

Wow that cleaned up really well. I like the Gold wheels too. You should get your other half on that one so you don't have to keep riding two up.

Re: What's the point
Something else to consider is what will keep it's value as petrol is driven out and electric takes over. I don't know how much longer we have with petrol but it's only going to get harder and harder and more and more costs for using petrol whether with fuel prices and / or eco-taxes and owning petro...

Dyno Outfit :biggrin https://i.postimg.cc/qv2z4VR9/serveimage.jpg Your going by an old dyno chart. This wont be as accurate as it was years back. I would start with giving the carbs a good clean and more importantly the air filter. When was the last time it was washed and re-oiled. Is it the BMC Str...

Re: Your top speed
Don't know as it was too fast to accurately look down and read the speedo but around 158 ish according to the speedo which is not the most accurate so one can knock 7mph ish off or on that. And yes that is far to fast and bloody dangerous as concentration levels have to be way up there. One split se...

Re: Bike running to lean
Any tips on how to remove the carb easily from the rubbers? loosen clamps fully and wiggle from side to side. That's left to right side of bike. Also note that carbs are mounted at a slight angle and there's also a small round hole in the plastic cowl above the right rad to insert your screwdriver ...

Re: NEW!!! MCCT's Installation Guide
Massive respect to VTRDark for the original mcct guide... a lot of time and effort went into that. Restores your faith in humanity! I’d read about this procedure before buying my storm. How likely are the auto tensioners to fail? I’m not against manual conversion (under guidance) to my storm at all...
