Re: Oil Cooler Technical Info.

To remove the hose from the bit that bolts to the engine, take a dremel type tool and make 2 cuts 180 degrees apart on the metal clamped on fitting. No need to cut though the hose, just the metal shell. Then bend then open and the hose will pull right off. At that point you can have a set of -6 AN w...

Re: New turn signals make bike look 20 years newer

On US spec bikes the front signals have running lights that stay on all the time but not on the rear which only act as signals.

Roger Ditchfield wrote: Sat Jun 04, 2022 8:45 pm It is very important that the front forks have been properly tuned if you wish to fit spacers of 4mm or 6mm. This is a safety warning. If you would like to discuss this please contact me on 07970 915259.

Thanks 8541Hawk :plainsmile

Replace with a new standard item or something aftermarket?

I run a Stant radiator cap on mine. I'll see if I can find the P/N

Re: Newbie - General VTR questions...

About the only thing I would change is the temp sound just a touch high. I would suggest replacing the radiator cap as that could still be the OEM bit

It will only turn on if you flick the kill switch, with the kill switch off nothing will come on.
Not sure how this would work like that since the only thing the "kill" switch does is cut the power to the ECU/ICM while everything else still receives power.

The Blond & the Airplane......

The frantic young blond calls out a Mayday. "The pilot has had a heart attack and is dead and I don't know how to fly" She hears a voice reply, over the radio: "This is Air Traffic Control and I hear you loud and clear. I will talk you through this and get you back on the ground. Ever...

Re: wont rev over 5000 rpm

If this happened after you changed the CCTs then you have the rear cylinder timing out 180 degrees.

When you say you checked the timing, did you have the bike apart before for anything?

A short can makes it louder but a long can will produce a lower tone. For an example my Akra cans are 480mm
