alright its a little less forgiving round slow bends than the Hornet but its no where as near as bad as the press makes out.

Re: New bike

I used to use one of these at at a bike school I used to teach for. A lot of bike for the money. Very underrated .
Watch out for the linked brakes. If you lock the front and release it but keep your foot on the back brake the front can remain locked.

Re: 2nd gear

Make sure you adjust the chain properly. Don't fully shut the throttle between hear changes and the easiest one to do 8O lower the gear lever about 10 to 15mm (depends on your boots and comfort) this means that you are more positive on the up change.

PS they all go clonk sir!!!

Re: Speedo Problem

Look under ther seat. There's a 3 wire plug that has a pink wire. In plug, clean and put back together
It's the plug from the sensor in the gear box that connects to the speedo!

Have any of you dog owners got any view!!!!

Re: Ron Haslam Race School Day

I did this a few years ago. I was even over taken by Leon who was messing about on a blade. I nearly got off to see if I was still moving! 8O It was a great day out. Ron is a really nice bloke. I did wish there was a little more track time. I hope it's changed but it was only 15 mins per session. I ...

Re: Insurance and legal cover

SAVE £30 DON'T BOTHER Unless it's 100% obviously not your fault legal cover is a waist of time. In my accident the uninsured driver was found guilty of un due care and attention and causing the accident. Legal cover would NOT touch the claim. An independent bike claims solicitor took the MIB to cour...

Re: Benefits shake up.

Re: Bull sh1t Power Again

It's the same as manufactures quoting DRY weights of bikes.
They even drain the forks of oil! I think BMW are the only one that give at true weight with all fluids in the bike!
