Re: Nightmare!!
CCT too tight makes the noise on start up, heard it on forum members bike last week.....it sounds weird but will go away when you slacken the offending CCT. But given the fact it sounds like they didn't know what they were doing, it could well be both back and front. Have a read on the other CCT thr...

Re: Useful photos
The scissor jack is the normal way, but you do have make sure the paddock stand is well positioned, and same with the scissor jack.

Re: Fork Braces!
Does anyone recommend having the wheel off to do this, or at least the pinch bolts slackened? Nora, Only my opinion, but I wouldn't slacken off the pinch bolts on the fork legs, especially the left hand one as that one can move in or out on the axle. You want the fork legs to stay in the same corre...

Balance the carbs, raise the tickover a bit and try some new plugs.
Other than that, they all do it to some extent

Re: Chinese brake disks
there was someone who joined 6 months [or more] ago who offered to get EBC discs trade, that would make them the lowest cost option. I went for Armstrong discs which were cheeper than Galfer, but about the same as EBC these links were all the options I was looking at http://www.davidsilverspares.co....

When I have it in my hands I will do some measurements and take photos of any design features that might need to be considered. getting the center to center distance will be critical to ensure no binding, when I made fork brace for my racing MZ I made then from 2 parts and the overlap was slotted to...
