Have a look at some of the Triumph ones. Thanks I have been.. Wife works at a Triumph dealer.. so it was one of the first that came to mind... Darn things must be made of gold, or at least priced that way, new and used. and the Tiger1050 rear caliper I was looking at... the bleeder is on the bottom...

Lloydie, I have an underslung one on mine and it doesn't get in the way of the stands I use.. Will add a picture tomorrow so you can see if you like? Heck yes.. please do post pics and ID any of the parts used (caliper, lines, ect)... I'm assuming you made the bracket.... if by chance you have that...

Above or below, the caliper will be forward of the axle. so thats a wash I think.

And yes, below the axle intuitively makes sense that it would be better for lower CG :clap:

I realize you said no fairing trim.. but just as another option. I used VFR800 clip ons for a year,,, had to trim fairing a bit to make um work right (full turn, no hitting the fairing) Trimming was done with an abrasive disk in a air motor..Painters tape laid on, markings made, trim. And the bad news is, the recommended paint shop wants almost $500 to strip, repair the small dent (no filler) prime, paint, decal, clear coat this tank. Used tanks are $250-350 shipped and come with flaws (minor, .. not bad for a 10-14 year old tank, but there none the less) New tank is $580.23 out ...
