Re: 19ltr

Ah

I'm guessing you're the fella I sent the message to on eBay?

Was just so you were aware it's a 16l. I'm 100% on that.

Good luck with your sale though.

Think your much better just breaking her up.

You can get one that is not written off for around the 800 mark. Quite a bit of work needs to go into that to make it viable.

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)

Fair enough mate. The grey one has the Spondon frame, which the PB bike owned by he who’s name should not be uttered, didn’t have. The heads on that bike also look a different colour (black) as opposed to silver on the lump for sale. The PB bike didn't have the Spondon.... But he did have a Spondon...

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)

I followed Al Mc & Mac’s example and posted b0llox most of the time!!!! So do you think the grey bike is what’s left of the Rothmans bike he put in PB? Must irk you somewhat mate! Kev the last time this was brought up... By someone else... He ended up threatened and then called Police on me... ...

Re: Ebay Finds (unusal/cheap/rare/or just good value)

I thought the same thing. Only the location and name of the seller clouded that. Ooh this is my 10,000th post as well! 10000 well done mate! That's some going. Yea the pic used for the carbs is the same one he posted here quite some time ago. The fancy gear rod is the same as are the rearsets.

Interesting adverts on Gumtree. Be nice to put the motor back in the frame! Maybe then tear it apart and leave it in a garage, ah Fab! Is this anyone on here? It’s very close to Grain!!!! Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Had a run out recently and all of a sudden throttle gave way on me. Half a turn of play. Anyway had a look today and of the cables had come out of the "holder" Probably just a lack of intelligence at the time the ccts were done. All sorted now though. Very tempted to get the flat bars on.....

Yes mac... The little bit of investigation led me to that obvious conclusion. I was more noting the lack of activity on what is a much older account followed by organising part of the meet. Just never noticed the name before. Just a simple question to satisfy my curiosity. .... Didn't realise people...
