Right peeps its buggin' me. Have had a slight creaking noise somewhere on the bike for a while now. Nope its not me. :) Have checked swinarm and shock linkages and all are fine. Well... mine is all back together and only took a couple of hours. :) Just one seized and knackered bearing but the rest were good. Pretty sure the temp sensor is on the right radiator and can be exposed to the elements but have never heard of any problems. Check for corroded connectors on sensor. I had the same prob as genisis, check the fuse first. I also had a stone chip stopping it from turning and it always blew the fuse.
