Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Would you prefer it if it was Micky Mouse and the headlights where ears  I must admit though Homer Simpson might have been more appropriate but I do kind of like the skull accept it's a bit common. A cuckoo clock would be a good one to have and every hour a little birdie pops it's head out a bi...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Sounds like you have done well. The mixture setting has to be one of most awkward and hardest things to do on these bikes. Especially the rear with the carb coolant hose in the way and things get hot rather quickly too. In fact the bike should be ridden and brought up to temp in an ideal world befor...

Re: New Job...
Er...I get paid for a 7hr day...Start at 8 finish at 4...which as you note is 8 hours... And that is why you made the right decision because the council is a doss and they will look after you. It's part of the gov so they look after their own. The same with any other public service job. Go and work...

I really like the paint job. Scottish flag looks great and it's a bit different. It would look quite as good if it was wearing a Kilt along with Sporran over the headlight. I wonder if it has hip flask hiding somewhere.

Work is about earning money to pay other co...

Re: New Job...
Sensible decision Mac. The modern day work culture is like slavery and too many health and safety molly coddling and paperwork etc everywhere. That new job sounds sweet on paper but my guess is the reality of it is that if you had taken it then there would have been a very good chance after a month ...

Re: Ok so I cheated today and paid a garage to do my mcct's
Sounds like you have got a garage there. That's a really fair price and they looked after you. A rarity in this day and age. Keep them in your address book and return the good will in recommendations and some free advertising to promote them. We need more good garages and mechanics like that.

Re: Just 'cause it's in a magazine don't mean it's that special
I wouldn't say no to the exhaust and I may be wrong but that tail fairing looks a bit like a Mario Nava. As for the forks I prefer Al's Aprilla forks with the Gold. Really it's about time Robs NI Spondon Mori got put in a mag. Once it's running again that is. If not because it's a Spondon Mori but b...
