Re: Front tyre advice

Do yourself a favour and get them both off, they'll both be knackered, you'll be sorry if you don't, that's an accident just waiting to happen, if you want some good rubber then a good choice for a FireStorm is a set of Dunlop Sportsmart or Sportsmart 2, great tyres for the wet and overall use :thum...

Re: Which double bubble should I buy?

I've got a Fabbri on my Firestorm and it's fine. but don't forget Zero Gravity, I have one on my FireBlade and I'm well impressed with it :D they both fit very well and look as though they belong there. Don't go cheap, they are usually a bad fit, don't look right and of poor quality :( This a pic of...

It's always refreshing to hear of good service now-a-days. Well done Roger, that is a quick service  If you're like me, you will be even more impressed once you get the forks fitted, set up properly and take the bike for a test ride  Chris. Yeah that's true, I was well impressed when...

Re: Fork lowers colour match

Wire wool, degrease, hammerite smooth silver. Nothing else reqired. Etch primer is not needed if you paint over whats there already. That'll be spray hammerite Lee? And it's a close match to original silver? That's what I used, Hammerite silver smooth in a spray can  worked for me :D http:...

Re: Indicator options with High levels

Hi cheekykev wheres abouts did you get VTR stickers from and do they match originals. Yeah they do match, but it's a long story and a bit difficult to explain in words, but I'll try. Basically I got a local graphics guy to make me the basic decals up ( the Honda on the lower panel and the VTR on th...

Re: Indicator options with High levels

Sorry this going to be annoying but I recently bought my VTR and it has indicators built into the rear light/ brake light unit. I can't see who makes it ( told you it would be annoying), but it can be done. This is what you're on about :- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BIKE-IT-LED-REAR-TAIL-LIGHT-WITH-I...

HI, I used these, you can just about squeeze them in at the side of the number plate on the plasic undertay fender, like yourself I'm not a fan of mini indicators but these look ok  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bike-It-Mini-Indicators-Pair-Short-Stem-Black-Amber-Lens-/370783767353?pt=UK_Motorc...

Re: Exhaust Headers

Just had a look at the photo on fleabay, I work with Titanium quite a lot and they don't look like Titanium to me, as lloydie said, you would know the difference immediately, Titanium is extremely light and non magnetic, plus the welds would be very small and neat. Sad to say they just look like sta...

Yes it's a 98 FireBlade, sent you a PM, I don't mind doing a few mods, I've got the equipment to do quite a lot of mods, builds etc. just need to research it more, don't really want to bog myself down with too much work if there is another wheel more sui...
