Re: From 107 to 128

The last few jobs are really wombles me off. To the point where I want to smash the bike into a wall. Every time I try and tick one off I spend hours getting nowhere. [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959] Number plate light shows too much white light after ages sorting the wiring and mounting to the tai...

Re: 2-1 Exhaust thought

Exhaust tuning is about scavenging and waves, pulses, are important. Length and diameter of tubing effect the waves. So both questions are the same, just differently worded. That's about the limit of my knowledge but I think, yes, with a big twin 2-1 means worse scavenging and so lower performance. ...

Nice looking bike. What radiator did you use? It looks bigger than the two standard radiators. The plumbing on the right side looks tidy too. Is the other side as good?

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

I got the battery connected, checked all the electrics and fitted the stop/tail light and number plate light. Initially I kept blowing main fuses until I realised I'd made a schoolboy error in replacing the Reg Rec - I'd left the old terminals on the wires and just taped them up [emoji849]. Cut them...

Re: Steering damper

out of interest, is it jacked up at the rear or do you have shorter blade forks? The 'Blade forks, set without any drop-through, give basically the same rake and trail as 5mm drip-through on standard forks. I'm pretty sure I remember that correctly. It was a while ago when I worked it all out thoug...

What Hawk says. Also don't drop the forks through the yolks more than 8mm.

Re: Well you asked for another Ducati build

The two-stroke is my favourite. Great lines and it's a style of bike I'd love to own. I've thought about doing it with the 'storm but I don't think I can make it work with the frame.

What battery and reg reg did you fit? I noticed the lithium battery in the mods list so I'm looking to copy.

Re: From 107 to 128

It's starting to look like a bike now. Still loads to do, nothing is connected up. I stuck the tank on yesterday just for somewhere to store it and then shoved the subframe and seat on so I saw a bike today. Bit of psychology to con myself into thinking it's nearly there. Subframe painting next, and...

Re: Exhaust Recommendation for Firestorm

Mori full systems use the stock rear down pipe. Check the size of the existing clamp and order the same.
You need the graphite gasket as per stock.

Straightened a few rows of radiator fins. Which is what I've done the last few times I found time to work on the bike. And what I'll be doing for the rest of the week at this rate. [emoji24]
