Re: The RD400 drag bike
I'm booked for Saturday, Al, Tony if you want to stay over let me know. I'm about 25 miles from Elvington That's a kind offer, thanks. Wife is probably joining me, and the journey from Kent is only about two hours so I'll think about travel nearer the time and let you know. Anyone know what time si...

That might be fun, do you have to pre-book or just turn up?

Re: Air filter
It's worth a try. What's the cost of the filter you found versus a complete replacement?
Also, is there any information about the particulate size it will filter out?

Re: Supersprox Stealth 42T rear sprocket
For what it's worth supersprox are always my choice of sprockets, for the Storm, SP2 and now I have one in my Aprilia.
They last well and are light.
You can get an anodised aluminium sprocket that's lighter but they don't last long.
Doesn't hurt that they look good, too.

Re: vtr project
Good spot. No mention of mileage, and too much damage to be put back on the road economically. Might make a reasonable track bike, though.
But not at the asking price.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Today I ordered the tools, oil and seals I need for the Ohlins fork rebuild on my Aprilia. Although they're semi-automatic electronic forks the rebuild looks to be the same as normal mechanical ones apart from unplugging the loom connector at the fork cap. They're not nitrogen-filled, so at least th...

Re: fuel warning light
No, it doesn't light up unless the fuel level is low.
Just strap a spare can if fuel on the back and ride til it stops, then you'll know.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Just put another year's MOT on the Tuono. It's the first time I've been out on it since November, due to an inner ear and balance problem. Luckily, today it's not too bad, and I could ride fairly normally. Only fairly normally because the new Sidi boots were on their first outing and will need a few...

Re: Help with paint decision and exhaust swap
Hi, and welcome- nice bike. Re the decals, you can simply warm with a hairdryer and peel them, the adhesive should come off with the sticker but if not use a road tar cleaner to shift it. Check on an unobtrusive section to make sure it doesn't damage it or dull the paint. Re the cans, it looks prett...

Re: wire colour identification
My guess is that it shorts the side stand switch.
You can easily check; with the side stand down, start the bike, pull in the clutch, put it in gear and the motor should stop.
