Re: CCT'S

Re: CCT'S
i cannot see how a cam can jump a tooth by simply removing the cct when not at tdc?). Even if the chain goes really slack because the tensioner is removed and the chain slips around the crank or cam because the valve springs are so strong? Either way, good find. At least you checked and didn't run ...
Re: CCT'S

Re: fair price for fitting CCT's
It really isn't difficult to do the cct's, but if your not mechanically minded your at the mercy of the trade.I dont know about the balancing as ive not had the need yet, but if i was to charge for my time to fit some tensioners i think £50 would be cheap. The £60 qoute i wouldn't trust

Re: best tyres for storm??
I'd just like to add how I'm loving the Michellin Pilot Road 2. I've had Bridgestone BT014, BT021, Avon Storm ST on it before and the Michellins are the best out of all of them. Even the criminally short lived (1000 miles) BT014 supposedly grippy sporty race tyre. And here's the kicker, I've done 1...
Re: 170/60/17
Its a five and a half inch rim and a 170 fits no problem, i just happen to have a nearly new 170 in my garage, ive fitted smaller tyres before on other bikes and it actually speeds up tip in, i just wondered if anyone had experienced this on a storm
170/60/17
Anyone ever tried one of these on the rear?
