The last guy on here who had a miss-fire from 6,000rpm it turned out to be the front and rear cylinder were not timed (valve timing) in conjunction with each other. It appears it was a garage who replaced one CCT only and hadn't thought about checking that :!: Here's the link:- http://www.vtr1000.or...

I've used a Arc welder to remove broken studs before, (if as in your case there is enough sticking out) what I have done is get a piece of mild steel say 6mm thick by 30mm or similar width 300 to 400mm long then drill a hole in it just big enough to fit over the stud, then weld it on to the stud, wh...

Good point re Dame Edna. She probably does warrant a mention, but what can you say about someone like her? This should clear the air VTRgirl  According to Dame Edna's autobiography, and to statements she has made, she was born Edna May Beazley in the (then) small rural town of Wagga Wagga, and...

Hi Paul, Adding to Beckster's advice for removing the front cam cover you will also need to remove the oil cooler mounting bracket. To make the job a little easier you will need a socket set with a universal joint, it was either my quarter inch or three eights socket set that I used, a half inch soc...

Max I remember seeing that guy before, I have a feeling there was also a article in MCNews on that very bike quite a long time ago :!: but I did see him riding it on TV. Not my sort of thing but still very clever and I would imagine one would need to be quite skillful to ride it successfully :!:
